After gathering 5 Swiss Titles and the Bronze, Silver and Gold Medals at the World Championships in '96, '97 and'98 in 4 years, we all thought Tanja was going to retire. What more can you achieve
after all that?
I'll never forget her 'phone call to Judy and I one night in January 2000. She told us that she had decided to compete one more time.
Instead of calling it the World Championship, the organizing fitness federations named the competition the Millennium Championship as part of the Millennium Year fever that seemed to take over in
2000.
To crown her Championship Career, Tanja won her last Championship Title as Miss Millennium Aerobic Fitness
She then retired from competitive aerobics - with a title which won't be challenged for the next 1.000 years!
